Bodega Bay Area Hikes
This 3.0 mile partial loop hike is easy, with about 300 feet in elevation change. There is one short easy uphill stretch, and the rest of the hike is nearly flat. Elevation ranges from 90 to 275 feet. You can split this hike into two, shorter ones -- a 1.1 mile out and back to the overlook, or a 1.8 mile loop through the headlands.
Kortum Trail is about 4.3 miles long and located near Bodega Bay, California. The trail is great for hiking and normally takes 1-3 hours.
The steep coastal access trail leads to a spectacular view of hidden coves and rock formations. Fishing is excellent but challenging. A perfect place to spend an enjoyable day for picnicking, sightseeing and relaxation. Can be hiked as a 1.9-mile loop with Shorttail Gulch Trail. Flush restroom facility at parking lot.
Pomo Canyon Campground to Shell Beach is a 6.6 mile out and back trail located near Duncans Mills, California and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible year-round.
